Human Hair Lace Tip: How to Choose the Correct Lace Front Sizes For Your Next Install
Hi, I am Ebony, the owner of A Queendom where we help you celebrate your unique beauty. Thinking about a Lace Front Wig, Lace Closure, or Lace Frontal but don’t know what size “lace to get?” Here are a few things to consider when selecting your next lace anything…
- The bigger the lace, the more natural hairline you will achieve. For a more realistic or natural hairline, select a 13*4 or 13*6 Lace Front Wig. For a sew in, choose a frontal over a closure (which is much smaller than a frontal).
- If you are doing your own install and don’t want to deal with a lot of lace (you know, cutting it,dying it, or blending it), then select a smaller lace size. A 4x4 or 5x5 closure or wig would be perfect for you if lace is not your thing.
- The type of hair you are using for your wig could impact the lace you use. I have found that if I am not feeling a lot of lace, I can wear a curly wig with a 4x4 lace or a curly sew-in with a 4*4 or 5*5 wig and the hairline looks natural because of how the curls fall. Choosing a smaller size lace front wig or closure could help costs down for your next install as the larger the lace, the more expensive the closure, frontal, or wig.
